If
you using a non-Dance Praise dance pad and experiencing problems controlling
the dance pad within Dance Praise 2: the Remix, you will need to download
the Dance Praise 2 update. You can download the Dance Praise 2 update file
by
CLICKING HERE for Windows XP/Vista, by
CLICKING HERE for Mac OS X.
Windows XP/Vista
For non-Dance
Praise USB based dance pads, please follow the steps below:
- Run the
dpcd2patch.exe program
- Follow
the directions in the setup program
- The setup
program assumes that the game is installed on the C: drive in Program
Files. If you installed it elsewhere, you will need to set that new path
- Start
Dance Praise 2: the Remix the way you normally do
- When you
get to the Dance Pad Assignment screen, type in the letters DPA to start
the pad configuration
- For dance
pads that do not have the "▲" & "■" buttons, substitute them with the
start & select buttons on your dance pad when you assign the buttons in
the pad configuration screen
- Once you
have created a dance pad profile, select the profile with the direction
arrows on your keyboard, and press the UP arrow on your dance pad to
continue
For non-Dance
Praise dance pads that require connection thru an USB adapter, please follow
the steps below:
- Plug the
USB adapter into an open USB port
- Plug the
PS2 dance pad into the adapter
- Step on
the Start, Select and Up Arrow buttons on the pad simultaneously and
hold for 3 seconds
- This will
switch the input to dance pad mode. You will need to do this every time
before you start the game
- Run the
dpcd2patch.exe program
- Follow
the directions in the setup program
